HireReady Suite ("HireReady," "we," "us") operates the website hirereadysuite.com. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our resume optimization service.

What We Collect

Resume & Job Posting Data

When you use HireReady, you upload a resume and provide a job posting. This data contains personal information including your name, contact details, employment history, and education.

How we handle it depends on your plan:

Free and Starter plans: Your resume and job posting are processed in real-time to generate your results. We do not store your resume or personal data after processing is complete. Once your session ends, your data is deleted from our servers.
Professional and Unlimited plans:If you create an account, we store your analysis history so you can access past results and compare jobs. You can delete your stored data at any time from your account settings. When you delete it, it's gone — we don't keep backups of your personal documents.

Account Information

If you create an account (Professional or Unlimited plans), we collect your email address and payment information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full credit card number.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve the service. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you.

How We Use Your Data

To process your resume and generate qualification analysis and optimized output
To provide account features (history, comparison) on paid plans
To process payments through Stripe
To send you the weekly career newsletter (Professional+ plans, you can unsubscribe anytime)
To improve our service based on anonymous usage patterns

We do NOT use your resume data to train AI models. We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

AI Processing

HireReady uses artificial intelligence to parse resumes, analyze job postings, and generate optimized output. Your resume text is sent to AI service providers (OpenAI, Google) for processing. These providers process the data according to their enterprise API terms, which prohibit them from using your data to train their models.

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store sensitive financial information on our servers.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of any data we hold about you
Delete — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Opt out — Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
Portability — Export your data in a standard format

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information. HireReady is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
